Anticipated to be a rebranded model, the Poco X6 Pro is likely to share similarities with the Redmi K70E, unveiled in China in November 2023.

The unveiling of the Poco X6 Pro in India on January 11, alongside the base Poco X6, has been confirmed, with a global launch set for the same day. Positioned as the successor to the Poco X5 Pro, the Poco X6 Pro is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K70E, introduced in China in November 2023. Prior leaks and reports have hinted at the design and key specifications of the upcoming Poco X6 series model. The company has now disclosed details about the operating system and AnTuTu score of the device.

According to a post on X by Poco India, the Poco X6 Pro will feature Xiaomi’s new HyperOS, initially introduced with the Xiaomi 14 series in China. The post also confirmed the handset’s availability on Flipkart in India.

Another post by the company revealed that the Poco X6 Pro achieved an AnTuTu score exceeding 1.4 million, touted as a “segment best” score, positioning it competitively against various flagship smartphones. Poco Global’s teaser described the handset as a “super speedy quasi-flagship” model, offering a glimpse of the rear camera module similar to that of the Redmi K70E, featuring three circular camera units and a circular LED flash unit within a rectangular module on the top left corner of the back panel.

The Poco X6 Pro will incorporate WildBoost Optimisation 2.0, enhancing the gaming experience, and will include a large stainless steel 5,000mm2 vapour chamber for improved cooling.

As per previous leaks, the Poco X6 Pro is expected to sport a 6.67-inch 1.5K LTPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset, with the 12GB + 512GB variant projected to be priced at AED 1,299 (approximately Rs. 29,500). Design renders suggest color options in black, grey, and yellow.

The camera setup is rumored to feature a triple rear system, including a 67-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. The device is expected to house a 5,000mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging support.
