An octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC built on the 4nm process will serve as the powerhouse for the iQoo 12.

The iQoo 12 5G is set to launch in India on December 13, following its global unveiling on November 7, which introduced both the standard variant and the iQoo 12 Pro. Key details about the phone, such as the processor, operating system, and availability, have already been confirmed by the company. The Indian version of the iQoo 12 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and run on Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14, serving as the successor to the iQoo 11 5G. Additional software details have been disclosed by iQoo India CEO Nipun Marya.

In a post on X, Nipun Marya confirmed that the Indian variant of the iQoo 12 5G will receive three years of software updates and four years of security patches. The iQoo 12, as previously confirmed, will launch with Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 out-of-the-box. Once available, the phone will be exclusively sold through Amazon and the official iQoo e-store.
