The telephoto cameras on the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro will exhibit notable differences.

Leading up to the anticipated launch of the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro in China, more information about the cameras on these flagship devices has surfaced. Vivo is set to unveil two models in the Vivo X100 series, though it remains uncertain whether the third variant, the Vivo X100+, will also be introduced during the event. Recent leaks have inundated the rumor mill with details about the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, and the latest leak highlights disparities in camera design and hardware.

According to tipster Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24), the camera modules on both upcoming smartphones will exhibit slight differences in design. The provided image indicates subtle cosmetic distinctions between the camera layout of the Vivo X100 and the Vivo X100 Pro. One of the phones features a more oblong camera setup, which deviates from a perfect circle, while the other maintains a circular configuration. Additionally, the layout of the Vivo X100 Pro appears slightly larger, with the volume and power buttons positioned slightly higher.

The tipster reveals that the Vivo X100 Pro boasts a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an f/1.75 aperture. It is also equipped with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera featuring an f/2.0 aperture and a periscopic telephoto camera with OIS and an f/2.5 aperture, capable of 4.3X zoom.

In contrast, the camera setup on the Vivo X100 seems distinct. According to the tipster, its primary camera is a 50-megapixel sensor with OIS and a brighter f/1.6 aperture. The ultra-wide camera is reportedly the same as the more expensive model. The telephoto camera, however, is rumored to be a 64-megapixel sensor with an f/2.6 aperture and OIS, limited to 3X zoom.

Previous leaks suggest that the Vivo X100 will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, the phone is expected to run on OriginOS 4 in China, based on Android 14.

The Vivo X100 Pro is anticipated to share similar core hardware specifications with the Vivo X100 and will also feature the same processor. On the other hand, the Vivo X100 Pro+ is rumored to be equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
