The Moto G Power 5G (2024) is slated to follow the footsteps of the Moto G Power 5G (2023) models.

The Moto G Power 5G (2024) is poised for a potential near-future launch. This forthcoming smartphone is expected to follow in the footsteps of the Moto G Power 5G (2023), which was released in April 2023 and featured an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 930 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery with 10W wired charging support. Now, a leak from a reputable tipster has revealed both the dimensions and design renders of the upcoming Moto G Power 5G phone.

A MySmartPrice report, in collaboration with tipster Steve H.McFly (@OnLeaks), has unveiled design renders and details of the Moto G Power 5G (2024). According to the report, the phone is currently in development and is expected to hit the market in the near future. While the report does not specify an exact launch date or timeframe, it can be inferred that the release will occur sometime next year, given the nomenclature suggests it will be the 2024 iteration of the Moto G Power series.

The leaked images shared by the tipster showcase the Moto G Power 5G (2024) in a white color variant, exhibiting design similarities with its predecessor. One of the notable differences expected in the upcoming handset is the rear camera setup. Although the rectangular camera module in the top left corner of the back panel resembles that of the 2023 model, it is likely to house only two camera sensors instead of three. Similar to the previous smartphone, the LED flash unit is situated within the camera module, adjacent to the sensors.

The front camera of the Moto G Power 5G (2024) is situated within a centrally-aligned hole-punch cutout at the top of the display. The phone is observed with slim bezels but a relatively thicker chin. The volume rockers and the power button are both positioned on the right side of the phone, as revealed in the leaked renders. The bottom edge of the device appears to incorporate a speaker grille, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Furthermore, the report indicates that the Moto G Power 5G (2024) is likely to feature a 6.7-inch flat display. It is also suggested that the handset’s dimensions are expected to be 167.3mm x 76.4mm x 8.5mm, which is slightly larger than the 2023 model, measuring 163.06mm x 74.8mm x 8.45mm.
