Anticipated to run on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, the OnePlus Ace 3 is set to deliver powerful performance.

The imminent release of the OnePlus Ace 3 in China has sparked online discussions about its potential features. Positioned as the successor to the OnePlus Ace 2, launched in February of the current year, speculations are emerging before any official announcements. According to insights from tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the OnePlus Ace 3 is expected to showcase a 6.78-inch BOE X1 curved display with a 1.5K resolution. This aligns with his earlier predictions. The tipster further suggests that the display’s peak brightness level and PWM dimming rate are likely to resemble those of the recently unveiled OnePlus 12, recognized as a benchmark for Android handsets.

Digital Chat Station reveals that the OnePlus Ace 3 will boast a metal mid-frame chassis and be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Leaked details also hint at a substantial 5,500mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging capability. The phone made an appearance on Geekbench, revealing configurations of up to 16GB of RAM and operating on Android 13.

Crucially, the OnePlus 12, as the latest flagship model from the brand, features Qualcomm’s cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and includes a 5,400mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.

Previous leaks suggest that the OnePlus Ace 3, likely to be marketed globally as the OnePlus 12R, may incorporate a display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The phone is also rumored to sport a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 32-megapixel telephoto shooter. The front camera is expected to be a 16-megapixel sensor.
