Oppo has verified that the Oppo Reno 11 series can undergo charging even in conditions as cold as minus 20 degrees Celsius.
Oppo is set to launch the Reno 11 series on November 23, but ahead of the official release, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has provided glimpses into the specifications of the upcoming lineup through multiple teasers. Confirmed details include the Oppo Reno 11 Pro being powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, and both the Oppo Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro featuring 80W charging support. Additionally, Oppo is offering a 48-month free battery replacement plan for early purchasers of the new lineup.
Several Weibo posters from the brand have further unveiled details about the Oppo Reno 11 series. The Oppo Reno 11 Pro, as mentioned earlier, is validated to run on a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, supporting previous leaks. The device is also teased to boast a ProXDR display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,600nits peak brightness, and 1.5K resolution.
On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 11 will house a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC and is set to support a high frame rate of 120 frames during gameplay of Honor of Kings. The handset claims to provide up to 9.7 hours of gameplay on a single charge.
Early adopters of the Oppo Reno 11 series will benefit from a four-year battery replacement program, allowing free battery replacements if the battery health drops below 80 percent within the specified timeframe. Both models will support 80W fast charging and are said to be capable of charging at temperatures as low as minus 20 degrees Celsius. The new models will also feature Oppo’s lossless memory compression, saving up to 45GB of storage space, and the brand promises 48 months of smooth performance for the handsets.
The official launch of the Oppo Reno 11 series is scheduled for November 23 at 2:00 pm local time in China (11:30 am IST). Alongside the smartphones, the Oppo Pad Air 2 tablet will make its debut and is currently open for pre-reservations in China.
Oppo has unveiled four color options for the Reno 11 series—Fluorite Blue, Moonstone, Turquoise, and Obsidian Black (translated from Chinese). The handsets will run on Android 14-based ColorOS 14. The vanilla model is teased to include a 50-megapixel SLR-level portrait lens and a 32-megapixel sensor with a 47mm focal length.
